Excellent stay! The place was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The host was extremely kind, professional, and she was willing to help. I would definitely recommend this property and would be happy to stay here again.

Our host Jessica made our stay in Toronto special, we got a warm welcome and some interesting insight into her culture. Breakfast was a new experience for us Europeans, and extremely delicious. Lovely quiet area. Our room and bed were comfortable, we had our own bathroom. Thank you for your fabulous hospitality!

The place was spotless and Jessica went out of her way to welcome me, helped me with my bags and parked her car in visitors parking to ensure I had a spot! Otherwise I may have gotten a ticket. The neighbourhood was also nice and quiet.
I liked that the accommodation had shared space with the owner. That means it’s safe and clean. She and her daughter were out a lot however so it was like I had the place to myself😀
It was cold both nights I stayed. My fault. I should have said something.

The location was perfect for us. When I made the booking I thought we'd have our own place so at first I was taken by surprise. I guess because it said in a smart home I started thinking about what is a smart home and somehow missed the point that this would be a room in someone's home. But even though we're in our sixties and haven't lived with room-mates in a very long time, we adapted to it quickly because our host and daughter were so friendly. The bed is comfortable. Our host went out of her way to help us park in the garage.
I was uncomfortable with the fact that our booking had to remain secretive. We were asked to pretend we were not paying guests in front of the neighbours and to keep the blinds lowered, which was unfortunate because the pictures show lovely windows with nice greenery outside. But it appears that this is a common practice in Markham and Richmond Hill. We just weren't aware that these booking sites now include these and feel that fellow travelers should know ahead of time in case you are also not comfortable with clandestine arrangements.
