Very tricky bed space but once you are lying down it’s fine!!! Very comfy bed

Great communication with the owner. Charming and private cottage, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Despite the rural location free of bugs inside the cottage! The setting is very lovely with wonderful views. Fresh milk a great touch, as was the bag of ice in the freezer in the hottest week of the year! Not a criticism but note the steps to the bedroom are a bit steep for those who need to use the loo in the night.

The main road provides almost constant noise so recommend earplugs for sleeping during hot weather when windows are open. Tall people will struggle upstairs due to height of ceiling.

It was a bit far outside town, especially as we had already walked a long way on the Offa's Dyke trail
