CEDAR PEAK by AWESOME STAY in Baguio

The place was near the city centre, close to Burnham, and it was so easy to find transportation since most terminals are nearby and the taxis can be seen outside.

The airconditioner might need some maintenance, but that's not a deal breaker since Baguio has been cold during our stay, but we did find ourselves sweating a bit at night. The electric fan helped to keep us cool.

The hotel is in the shopping area, a block away from the main street, two blocks from the central park, three blocks from the bus station to Sagada. There are two nice restaurants and a supermarket within the block.

The center is quite noisy and busy. The streets are steep. The door room lock was faulty, we broke the key trying to open it. The room is small, the kitchen is very basic.

The location is excellent, very beautiful, convenient and close to everything you might need, including restaurants, shops, tourist spots and public transportation. It made getting around easy and added a lot of comfort and convenience to the overall stay.

The cleanliness of the unit did not fully meet my expectations and could definitely be improved. While the place had good potential, there were areas that seemed insufficiently cleaned and needed more attention to detail. In addition, the smell inside the unit was not very pleasant, especially in the bathroom. It seemed that the cleaning products were stored inside the toilet/bathroom area, which caused a strong odor that affected the overall comfort of the stay. The towels also had visible stains, which made it difficult for us to determine whether they were properly cleaned or not. Although they may have been washed, the appearance of the stains gave an impression of poor cleanliness. Improving the cleaning standards, replacing or properly treating stained towels and improving the ventilation would make the experience much better and more comfortable for future guests.
