Balcony on the sea

I recently stayed at Balcony on the Sea for 5 nights (August 10–15), and it was a truly memorable experience. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Durrës. The location is absolutely ideal. As the name suggests, the balcony offers a stunning, unobstructed view of the sea – waking up to that sight every morning was a dream. One of the biggest highlights was the proximity to not just one, but two beaches: a private beach for when we wanted a more exclusive, relaxed atmosphere, and a public beach just a short walk away when we felt like being in the middle of the action. This gave us the best of both worlds. We also loved how close the apartment was to a fantastic selection of restaurants and terraces. Everything was within walking distance, so we never had to worry about finding a good place to eat or enjoy a drink with a view. The evenings were particularly lovely, with the sea breeze and the vibrant atmosphere of the nearby promenade. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and perfectly equipped for our 5-night stay. The host was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our time. Overall, Balcony on the Sea offers incredible value for money, combining a prime location, beautiful sea views, and easy access to both beaches and local dining. I would definitely stay here again!

The apartment is situated above two restaurants, and throughout our stay, we frequently noticed cooking smells rising up to the balcony. More frustrating was the ventilation/exhaust system from these restaurants, which was quite loud and disruptive, especially in the evenings when we wanted to relax outside. It made spending time on the balcony less enjoyable than we had hoped.

Amazing apartment right in front of the Adriatic — the view and the sound of the waves made every morning magical. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. Great location with all amenities just steps away — restaurants, shops, and the beach promenade right at your doorstep. The host was absolutely wonderful — warm, attentive, and always ready to help. You can tell they truly care about their guests. Highly recommend and would definitely come back!
