Old Town - Major - Unik Vacation

The location is amazing — right in the heart of the old town of Tarragona, but at the same time the apartment is not noisy. The terrace is truly wonderful and a great place to spend time outside. However, it is not completely private, as the neighbours use it to pass through. The apartment is well equipped: there is a coffee machine, blender, kettle, toaster, pots and pans, and a juicer. The apartment is spacious enough for two people. It has its own unique atmosphere and charm.

The main issue is the bedroom on the second floor. It does not have a proper air conditioner, only a portable one connected to the window. It is extremely noisy, so sleeping with it on is impossible. At the same time, opening the window on the second floor is not allowed. Because of the heat and lack of fresh air, it became impossible for two people to sleep comfortably in the bedroom. In the end, my husband and I had to sleep separately — one of us slept downstairs on the sofa, where there is a normal air conditioner. There are also a lot of external noises in the bedroom coming from the roof, such as sounds from some kind of pumps or machines. There is a toilet on the second floor, but it works with a pump system, which is also very noisy. Using the bathroom at night without waking the other person is almost impossible.

The location was superb. Beautiful flat . Great roof terrace. . One thing to mention , lots of steep steps to the flat . Not great for mobility issues.

Nothing really , bed could be bigger

El apartamento tiene de todo y es muy confortable. El salón, además de una gran mesa y cuatro cómodas sillas, dispone de un sillón fantástico y de una smart tv grande. El dormitorio es amplio, con variedad de almohadas de distintas texturas y con una cama donde se descansa de maravilla. La cocina está totalmente equipada con todo tipo de menaje y electrodomésticos; no le falta de nada. También tiene una preciosa y soleada terraza que, por el clima que hubo durante nuestra estancia, no pudimos disfrutar. La ubicación, con la catedral de Tarragona al fondo de la calle, es excelente para disfrutar del barrio alto y recorrer a pie la ciudad.

Debido a que es un edificio histórico, y por lo tanto antiguo, para acceder al apartamento hay que subir cuatro pisos con escaleras muy estrechas y empinadas. También hay una pequeña escalera interior para subir al dormitorio, y otra exterior para subir a la terraza.
