Ardtarmon House is far more than a fabulous place to stay. The owners welcome guests with open hearts. My mother is elderly. We had just flown in from the USA. They met us at the door, helped her in, spent time talking, smiling, and laughing with us, and went out of their way to make our stay extraordinary. Their compassion and grace is incomparable. Our room and bathroom were impeccably clean and the beds incredibly comfortable; in fact, my mother said her mattress gave her the best sleep she’s had in years. Aesthetically, the room, house, and surroundings are gorgeous. The 27 acres of land bordering the ocean are sprawling with flowers and foliage. Absolutely stunning. Breakfast was perfect: eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, jam, coffee/tea, orange juice, and more. And shout out for the fruit bowl, which was filled with a variety of fresh, fresh fruit to enjoy any time of day. As wonderful as it is, and it REALLY is, it pales in comparison to the people who make it magical: thank you Robert, Charles, Krista, and Ella for your kind hearts and warm home.
Wish we could have stayed longer.
