Great little apartment. Was very clean and functional, with plenty of space to open up our bags and spread out a little (well, compared to the hotels we had been staying in). Its right next to a train station - although, its not the best connected train station and we often had to walk to Ueno to get a better connected train (about a 600-800 metre walk). Its also right next to a 7/11, with a Lawsons and Familymart also close by. The 2x beds were only double size, so not huge, but it seemed to be the standard in Japan. It was nice though to have a separate room for my son. There were 3x aircons which worked great. We didnt have to cook anything, but there was a basic kitchenette available. There was a full size fridge which was also great. There are a few restaurants around really close, but simlar to the trains, you are about a 10-15 minute walk from Ueno which has an endless amount of restaurants and shops. Its in a undercover shopping street, but its a pretty quiet area. The accomodation seems relatively new, but all the furniture and provisions are pretty cheap, so it will be interesting to see what the quality of the place is like in a year.

There was a washing machine which was great, but there was no way to hang clothes to dry and even with the aircon on heat the clothes took 2+ days to dry in the rooms. The only solution was to leave the clothes in the shower room with the 'drying' function on, but you were quite limited where to hang things - a clothes rack would have been ideal. There is very little natural light coming into the place, so brace yourself for that. Its not a deal breaker, but it did feel a little prison like at times. As mentioned above, the train station about 20 metres away is not just as convenient as you would think, so just be prepared to walk a little - also not a deal breaker, but just a consideration as our 3 year old got over the walk pretty fast.

This brand new apartment in Shin-Okachimachi exceeded all expectations. The location is fantastic—quiet, safe, and just a short walk to multiple train stations, making it super easy to get around Tokyo. The apartment itself was spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable. Everything felt fresh and well-designed, from the cozy bed to the fully equipped kitchen. We especially appreciated how peaceful and quiet the area was, while still being close to convenience stores, restaurants, and attractions like Ueno and Asakusa. It truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for comfort, convenience, and a great local experience in Tokyo!
