The location, the jungle, the staff and the nature
It has seen better days but still a cute spot... Take your sleeping masks and earplugs with you and be aware that there's no AC... The nets are just for decoration by now... No hot water and quite a smelly bathroom... bed is quite uncomfortable

I love this area of Bali. It’s on the way into Ubud away from all the the hustle and bustle. I’ve stayed here before and it is so quiet and beautiful by rice fields and natural vegetation.
As I am 60 I am wary of unexpected steps ( one next to bed) and irregular stairs in bathroom means you must take care.

The bungalow / room has a very cool architecture. It looks awesome and it’s amazing to have a window with balcony in the jungle. Very scenic.
Unfortunately this is not a comfortable stay at all. There is no AC in the room… and because it’s made of wood it gets very very hot inside. Unbearable during the day, and better at night but still too hot for comfort. Bathroom is also very basic and not comfortable. Low water pressure, rocks on the floor, too small for taller people…
Lastly the access is difficult - you can’t go all the way with a car and even with a scooter it’s a bit difficult to get to the hotel …
