Tweedies Gully Estate Settlers Cottage Barossa

Beautiful old manor-style house with bright extension set in a stunning location, surrounded by vineyards and century old trees, white blossomed pear trees. Greeted by a complementary bottle of red wine which was delicious. Loved the serenity, the comfortable living areas and picturesque views. Although we were worried that the beds were only double, they were super comfortable. And best of all, it is dog-friendly - our two Goldens loved it.

A few little things: our friends would have liked blinds in the front bedroom, there was no bin in the bathroom, no tea bags (although we realised on the last day there were decaffeinated ones in the jar marked "decaf"), could have had another, smaller saucepan.

We loved how beautifully the cottage was appointed and presented. How considerate the host were and the location of the property. Set amongst the vines and gums. So peaceful and picturesque.

Leaving. We were so sad to leave. Thank you to the hosts for sharing this piece of heaven.

The views were amazing and picturesque. One side you had hills with sheep another side you had vineyards and another side you had gum trees. Plenty of room for children to play on the lawn also. There is also a cellar door on the property which you can do tastings also

Maybe needs a blind to front bedroom and a little more firewood for a 2night stay.
