Absolutely perfect! Gorgeous facility, spotlessly clean, comfortable room, ideal location for seeing London. Restaurants and the underground nearby. The host at the front desk was gracious and very helpful.

Individual plastic tubes for shower gel , would be easy enough to install a soap dispenser and save on tons of plastic.

Noisy slamming doors (especially in the early hours of the morning).

I will say everything was wonderful EXCEPT the bed. In thenUS we would call it the box spring part of a set. I ended up in agony and incapacitated for my last two days. 2 lost days of a short trip.hobble to a pharmacy (twice) to get some help. Worse was there was no way to get relief except lie down …on that thing that’s NOT a mattress. I could run my hand over each coil and feel where they were attached. These wonderful rooms are actually private “student studios” during school. So I have to believe they bring mattress toppers. The place is immaculate. Location is superb. Staff is magnificent. Ihas a single person unit behind with no windows but a skylight over the bed. There was a door but I never opened it or looked out. In day two I returned early evening to find the outer door slightly ajar! With an inside key on the lock. Now I have no idea if there was always a key in the lock or if someone had been in my room I was frightened for my safety also incase a person was hiding in the wardrobe. My things looked intact and valuables were with me so not there. I went to the front desk and he said no one but cleaners have accesss and they only come every 8 days or so. Sonit wasn’t them. He came to my room to see the door and actually couldn’t get it closed. It wouldn’t lock. So we have no idea if it was never locked or what happened. That was frightening especially considering the whole place seems very secure and a card needed for any interior public door. So they moved me to a larger two person studio with the bad mattress. To be honest the first “mattress “ was the same and was joking about it to my husband who was back in the US that you could feel the ridge of the side of the mattress …and that was the better one! On another review before I booked there was a mention of the mattresses and I didn’t pay attention because I thought it was subjective. But by the time I left I could barely walk without spasms. Get in or out of a chair without holding on.

Mattresses are really box springs that you can literally trace the coils with your hands. A safety issue with a broken outside door
