Sea View Ground Floor flat

Size & cleanliness of the property was fantastic, as was the location.

Internet was hit & miss.

Modern furnishings, view over north beach, comfortable, warm and easy to follow instructions.

Everything was fine

The location was good, the view was great, the apartment was very clean, well decorated in a modern style, nicley furnished and equipped and very comfortable. Easy access, about halfway between town and Peasholm park. It is solid ly built, no creaking boards or doors. Lovely shower. Excellent for early morning walks at sunrise with plenty of seats to sit and enjoy it. And lots of information given from owners.

Very little to dislike! I can only speak as part of a disabled couple. , but hardly a dislikes about the apartment!! We find low backed funiture difficult to relax on with no support. BUT there was a more comfortable chair also there! Which has been lacking in a few places we have stayed in the past. So that is more a positive point really. The only thing I can think of is that maybe a shower mat would be good. The shower is fantastic but can be rather slippy.

It’s a small flat and has a combined well laid out small kitchen, dining living room. The kitchen element was very well stocked and had every thing you needed and more for a short stay. The TV was great (smart tv and could sign in to my Apple, Prime and Netflix accounts). The beds were comfortable and a good shower. I was very impressed with all the small touches that make a difference to your stay, like lamps and fans and side tables you could eat from (mum couldn’t get up on the high dining chairs) coasters etc. I travelled with my elderly mother and having total step free access to get into the property and no steps in the flat was fantastic, together with 2 bedrooms with comfortable double beds, good blackout curtains. The views were great and also having a parking pass was great. The communication with the hosts was really good and information supplied was excellent from how to find, how to access and how to operate things in the flat to what to do in Scarborough and where the hospital is. I also really like this part of Scarborough and really easy to walk to either the North or South side.

The internet was a bit patchy particularly on an evening so you did get the circle of death when watching films. Guess if you were larger it would have been difficult to access the shower as is a fixed screen ( this was good for us, as allowed me to put a support stand around toilet for my mother).
