The Train Carriage

We loved our stay at the train carriage, very clean. Good communication with the owners. The hot tub was perfect. The bed was comfortable. Our dog absolutely loved staying here’s

The only feedback we would like to put forward is to maybe have a privacy screen by the hot tub - it’s very open.

Quiet, woodland surroundings. The hot tub was relaxing and the accommodation was unique!

Quiet location, well thought out decor and cute little place. Special request was beautifully done with a bottle of processco waiting for us.

The check in process - the code we were sent was wrong so we couldnt get in. Booking.com had mixed infomation regarding location it says 4 mins walk from Roar dinosaur park but its in Dunston. Owner was difficult to get in touch as was away om holiday.

Beautiful location and views

There was no privacy from the people playing golf, my partner did not feel comfortable going into the hot tub as there were golfers approaching the back of our annex and were in plain view of us , there was no cork screw opener, the hot tub did not remain hot, there is no need for 2 chairs inside as it takes up all the space, there should be a fly screen on doors so you can open doors and shut a screen to stop fly from coming in, the front gate which was entry into the annex should be bigger as it did not feel safe and should be more enclosed to allow privacy, there should be a partition place on side of the hot tub to give privacy from the golf course otherwise you're just laying there and golfers are just staring at you, I would have placed a hammock in the area as there is so much space but lacking anything. I would suggest the following: 1) place privacy partition from view of golf course where the hot tub is 2) maybe place in a flip bed so you have space to sit during daytime as its quite crammed inside 3) provide more utensils and corkscrew openers and small cups for drinking as there were only pint glasses. 4) place a hammock in the area of trees 5) Make the fence slightly higher with wooden panels to give privacy from golf course 6) place a taller gate in entrance of annex as it feels very exposed 7) place a security light that remains on by the gate entrance so you can see even if it's a little light
