Altstadtzimmer Günzburg

Everything was as promised in the booking description. Especially the location in the middle of the Altstadt is great. Everything you need is at a stone throw’s distance. From a large choice of restaurants to department stores and ice cream shops. Right around the corner there is Timmy’s living room which serves nice cold beer and cocktails, it’s nice and cosy. The city center itself is lively but not excessively noisy when sleeping in the apartment. Though the apartment building itself isn’t really soundproof. Depending on how much noise the other guests make you might experience some discomfort from that. For us it was no problem though. The apartment was also very clean and Mark the host is really invested in you having a good stay. You can always reach him by phone should there be an issue or if you have a question. It’s like 9-10 minutes from Legoland which we visited twice, being able to eat dinner at a nearby restaurant afterward was a bonus too as the food is much better than at Legoland.

We didn’t have much use for it as we often ate at the nearby restaurants, but the kitchen utensils are scarce. If you plan to cook in the apartment they will probably be inadequate. This can easily be fixed by adding some more utensils though.

Good location and easy to connect

They is mosquito 🦟 there and I think they should spray the too something bit me and my kids on the bed 🛏️ so I think they need to spray the room.

Mark is an incredible host: attentive, welcoming, and always helpful. The apartment is beautifully furnished with great taste and has everything a family could need. The dining area is spacious, and the kitchen is perfect for preparing meals. The best part, however, is the location. Situated in the heart of Günzburg's Old Town, the apartment places you right in the middle of a charming cobblestone street lined with cafés, restaurants, and a fantastic pub, all just a few steps away. Of course, the original reason we chose this location was its proximity to LEGOLAND, which is only about a 10-minute drive away. In the end, we found that the apartment's character, comfort, and unbeatable location made the stay even more memorable than we expected.

Die Lage war toll, fußläufig alles gut erreichbar. Leider hat dies vor allem Nachts zu massiver Lärmbelästigung geführt, durch Passanten (gefühlt direkt mitten in der Wohnung). Die Fenster konnten dadurch kaum geöffnet werden und es war unerträglich heiß in der Wohnung.

Die Sauberkeit ließ leider massiv zu wünschen übrig. Im Bad war hinter dem Mülleimer noch der Dreck des vorherigen Gastes, sprich der Mülleimer wurde bei der Reinigung offensichtlich nicht mal zur Seite genommen und im Wohnbereich fand ich auch noch einen schmutzigen Socken vom vorherigen Gast am Heizkörper liegen :-(
