Castle Walk Apartment

Lovely apartment, perfect for my needs for a couple of days. Ideal location within easy walking distance of train station. Supermarket close by for buying supplies; also plenty of eateries and take-aways in area, including Chinese restaurant/takeaway downstairs. The apartment was very quiet at night, despite being on the junction of two reasonably busy roads. The kitchen was well supplied with crockery and cooking utensils, plus a few basic condiments, coffee and tea bags. Wi-fi was good. Bed was comfortable; bed linens and towels all good. I didn't meet the owner, but had a couple of friendly, helpful messages from him regarding access to the property. Although, as some people have menioned in their reviews, the stairs may be a bit of a problem if you have large suitcases, they are easily manageable, and there is a handrail for safety. All in all, a very good place to stay at very reasonable cost.

l'appartement est conforme a sa description. équipé pour correspondre à un besoin de passage. Les informations d'entrée et d'utilisation ont été communiquées en temps et heure, d'une manière trés claire. Parfait pour visiter Stirling, ses alentours et son chateau.

La literie un peu souple peut être.... la peinture de la salle de bain a reprendre.

And easy walk to Stirling Castle and old town. We had parking on the street, which was not a problem so we didn’t look for the car park that was suggested. We were only staying one night so it was adequate for that. The narrow staircase would have been difficult to manage large cases and unit was very small so they would not have been a lot of room to have cases. Instructions worked well and it was an easy chicken.

If you were wanting a comfortable unit to stay in for awhile without a couch to sit and watch TV would have been a bit difficult, but we were only there for one night so it didn’t really bother us.
