This place is a total gem. About 20 minutes south of Lyon, but literally a few hundred meters from the highway exit so it's a straight shot that will save you many headaches trying to park your car downtown Lyon or Vienne. It's an old house, which was a blessing cause it was my little haven of coolness during the searing heat wave last June. The house has everything you might need, and would acommodate a small family easily. My favorite part was the host, Christian, who was on the premises for anything I needed, but was never overbearing. It was great hearing about how he spent more than a decade renovating this house. I felt honored to share this little part of his home for the few days I was there, and I will go back every time I need to be in that area. Massive perk for the house: there is a little bakery down the street that makes the best bread I've had in years. That alone should convince you to book the place.

The bakery is closed on Mondays, but that's about it.

L’emplacement est idéal à 10mn de voiture de tous les points d’interêts de la région. Le propriétaire est très agréable et disponible, il répond à toutes vos demandes à n’importe quel moment de la journée. Les instructions sont très claires et expliquées dans le guide transmis avant l’arrivée. Le logement dispose de tous les équipements nécessaires.

Les chambres du haut étaient plus petites que la suite parentale du rez, ce qui peut déranger quelques couples. Mais tout de même confortable et disposant d’une salle de bain et toilette à l’étage.
