Fiskardo Beach Apartments

The location of our self-catering apartment was wonderful. I made all the breakfasts, so they were perfect ! ;-)

It was perfect !

The flat is well equipped for a medium-length stay. It’s clean, well-proportioned, and everything worked well (although I can’t comment on the TV, as we never had time to switch it on). The flat has a balcony with a sea view, and it was wonderful to have breakfast and the occasional lunch there. A small beach (Zavalata) is right across from the flat, which was very convenient for a quick morning or evening dip. Much better beaches are only a 5–15-minute drive away. The flat is close to the nightlife, which in itself is not very loud at all, and yet the flat is very quiet. It’s a 5–10-minute walk to the harbour, where you’ll find shops and restaurants for every budget (booking is recommended for some of them), as well as boats of all sizes moored along the waterfront. The flat is right next to a large car park, but it faces away from it and is nicely shielded by greenery. Although the car park fills up quickly, we were always able to find a parking space close to the flat, especially as parking is free almost everywhere. The hostess, Gina, is a very helpful and good-natured person. She kindly lent us beach chairs and a good-sized umbrella, which was very much appreciated. She lives nearby and is always quick to respond if you need her help. Her English is perfect, and she gave us lots of useful tips about where to go and what to do. We liked the area very much and hope to be back!

Clearer instructions on how to operate the air-conditioning unit would be helpful.
