Windward Suite at Captains Guesthouse

Perfect location and lovely clean apartment. Our host Gabi was fabulous! Welcoming and helpful.

We had lovely stay in Fiskardo. It’s impossible to beat location and view from apartment. Could sit on the terrace all day and watch boats and people passing by. Apartment was very clean and had everything what’s needed for weeks stay . Host was very helpful and shared information about places to see, beaches to visit and tavernas to enjoy nice food.

Everything was lovely.

A very nice apartment in a great location with restaurants, bakery & 2 supermarkets a short distance away. Large terrace overlooking the sea (not entirely private as adjacent to steps down from main car park, so sometimes a bit noisy). Very comfortable bed with rather strange sheets in pale brown mesh-type fabric.

We had difficulty finding the property as the name on it is 'Captain's Guesthouse' & there is no name plate with 'Windward' on it. We weren't given advice of where to park or be dropped off - this is essential as the waterfront is pedestrianised. The door lock is electronic & when we returned the first evening, the code no longer worked; luckily we had taken all the phone numbers with us, but it took 6 attempts before we got a reply. We were told the lock 'jams sometimes' - this was proved a couple of days later when we were locked out again. The shower cubicle is very small & the apartment wasn't cleaned or the bins emptied (including the toilet paper bin) for the 5 nights we were there.
