Originally built in the 1870s, this beautifully restored home blends timeless character with modern amenities, creating the perfect setting for a memorable stay. THE SPACE (INTERIOR)
Our beautiful 1870’s house was updated, expanded and reimagined in 2008 by award-winning architect Jim Poteet. The home sleeps 6 adults comfortably (+ 2 kids/infants) in 3 well-equipped bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and a layout designed for groups/families to relax, spread out, and connect.
• Primary Bedroom: Features a king size Tempurpedic bed and convertible Koala twin sleeper, minisplit AC/heat system, ceiling fan, ensuite bathroom with a shower, smart TV, sound machine, and window shades
• Second Bedroom (accessed via office): Features a king size adjustable Sleep Number memory foam mattress, blackout blinds, ceiling fan, large closet, smart TV, and sound machine
• Third bedroom: Doubling as an office and/or second living room this room features a memory foam queen pullout sofa*, tower fan, blackout window coverings, workspace, spacious built-in closets, and an ensuite bathroom with a double vanity, freestanding soaking tub and large walk-in shower.
*this couch may change your opinion on pull-out sofas – it’s truly quite comfortable!
Laundered linens are provided for your use, including extra blankets and pool towels.
Bathrooms have shampoo/conditioner/body wash, and hair dryers.
The designer kitchen features a large gas stove/oven, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and French press, as well as pots/pans, dishware, glassware, utensils, and assortment of cooking essentials.

My husband and I, along with 3 teenage boys had the most wonderful time at this VRBO in San Antonio. The house itself was perfect with aged, authentic character but modern design. All 5 of us loved the large open kitchen and living room. We spent our days exploring the city and nearby attractions and nights relaxing at home. This house is 10/20 minutes from everything and very safe. Our 16 year old boys walked, scootered or ubered to everything (six flags, the zoo, riverwalk, natural bridge reserve). My husband and I walked to lunch or dinner every day, ran through the clean and beautiful trails along the river and lounged in the back yard. We ate at the Chart Room, in the Tower of the Americas, which slowly spun to view the entire city, it was a cool experience. We also went to the Rodeo- which was AWESOME! And the Pearl district. So much to explore! Thank you for letting us stay at your adorable VRBO!

We absolutely loved this property! The house was very clean and well-organized. The floor plan worked great as far as sleeping arrangements and hangout space for 2 couples and 3 kids. The design is beautiful! The kitchen and bathrooms were very well-stocked. The location can't be beat. The house is within walking distance of Hemisfair Plaza, La Villita, the Riverwalk, and more.
