Amazing location! Just 1 mile from the heart of the Riverwalk, but two blocks from the river itself. My sisters and I enjoyed walking along the river back to the house and the homes in that neighborhood are so fun to walk by and read the historical plaques.

It was a perfect home for gathering with family. The location was perfect. We enjoyed our stay there.

I would actually give it a 4.5 star because the location is great, however it was missing some essentials that our family is used to when renting: iron and ironing board. The birds and train were loud in early mornings. The upstairs was noticeably warmer than the downstairs and had different thermostat settings, so that should have been controlled. The ceiling fans had remotes but we couldn't get them to work. The driveway was narrow for an SUV and a pickup, but we made it work. Even with all of that, our kids enjoyed the layout and the multiple bedrooms worked for a 2 family weekend getaway in the upscale King Williams district. The walking distance to Guenther House for breakfast made up for the missing items and we would rent it again, but those small details were worth noting.
