About this house rental
Come stay at "Seaside Stenton", a classic Ocean City cottage.
Perfect location with great amenities and shops within a SHORT walk:
- Beach (5 minutes) - serviced by rest rooms!
- Boardwalk (6 minutes to northern end)
- Browns eatery (7 minutes) - breakfast, lunch, and *famous* hot doughnuts
- Fourth Street Cafe - renowned coffee and breakfast (9 minutes)
- Pizza/Subs, Ice Cream, and Corner Deli (3 minutes)
- Pessano's beach gear (7 minutes)
The space
This classic, one-story cottage includes a living/dining room space, small kitchen, three cozy bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and a furnished porch. Two additional storage rooms have cots available.
Bedroom 1: King bed, sleeps 2 (wide-screen TV)
Bedroom 2: Bunk bed / kids room, sleeps 2
Bedroom 3: Queen bed, sleeps 2
Extra room: two portable cots, ideal for children
Living room: Small, folding futon (sleeps 1 adult or two children)
***LINENS NOTICE:
- ***NEW 2026 -- basic bed sheets, pillow cases, and shower towels available on site
- If you use them, please WASH, DRY and FOLD any linens as you leave ($50 fine for dirty linens)
- Please do NOT bring shower towels to the beach ($50 fine)
OTHER:
- Eight beach tags included!
- Spacious side yard (rare on this island!), with a propane grill and plenty of seating for family gatherings.
- Outdoor shower
- Bicycles (depending on condition/availability), helmets and bike locks
- Beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards
- Free parking in driveway (1-2 cars, *tight* spacing), and on street as available.
- Free Wi-Fi
- Two wide-screen TVs -- bring your own devices and/or accounts to stream your favorite shows.
- Air conditioning -- house is equipped with window and/or portable units

We ask that our guests please keep in mind that Stenton is a residential neighborhood not suited to parties and loud noise, especially at night.

Excellent location for a good rate. Safe & quiet.

This is a cute vintage OCNJ home. The neighborhood is quiet and within walking distance of the beach. The owner has provided some good options for during the summer months like chairs and bikes and a nice patio with grill. It was also clean.
However, because it is an older home there are some safety hazards that need to be addressed and some mold that needs to be fixed to make this ready for paying visitors.
