Villa Almond is a beautiful property set in the countryside in the area of Rosolini, south-east of Sicily. It offers 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and it can accommodate up to a maximum of 4 people.
This magical estate offers a wonderful outdoor area with a fantastic salted-water swimming pool, all equipped with sunbeds, as well as its huge terraces, one partly covered, with sitting areas, table and chairs for al fresco meals, and the other perfect for sunbathing.
The whole estate is surrounded by a large natural park of olive and almond trees and allow guests to enjoy the nonpareil views across the rural landscape.
The entire property is way above the average with a unique design, being recently restored it offers top quality environment both indoor and outdoor.
The interiors are finished with taste and functionality, its modern style blended perfectly with the classic tradition of this beautiful island will make you will thrill only at the sight of this incomparable villa.
As you enter the property you will be welcomed by its large and very elegant living room with dining area and a lovely fireplace, 2 kitchens, one is an absolute dream for every woman that loves cooking, while the other one is a little bit more rustic with wood-burning oven perfect for cooking food for the outdoor area as it has direct access outside.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are located on this level, and are of course furnished to the highest standards, offering the best comfort in the best environment.
The property boasts also a strategic position: the baroque towns of Noto, Modica, Ragusa-Ibla and Scicli, but also the lovely beaches of San Lorenzo and Santa Maria del Focallo, the Vendicari nature reserve and Portopalo di Capo Passero are all a short drive away.

Neighborhood and transport:
Noto has ancient origins, but as it appears today is the result of reconstruction after the devastating earthquake of 1693 that completely destroyed it.
It was thus rebuilt on a larger and more secure place using the light and compact local stone, to which time has conferred a marvelous gold color with shades tending to pink. A must see!

House was great, also with kids.Enjoyed the silence, the nature, the pool, the ping pong table and the chimney.Everything was very new and modern. Villa Almond was just as advertised, perfect for a family of 4, beautifully built, well and tastefully equipped, perfectly located to explore the South / East of Sicily, or just to hang out around the pool for a few days.
Service (i.e. check in/out, pre-arrival communication) was perfect as well!
The only thing that was a bit cumbersome was WiFi, or better, internet connection - very unstable and rather slow - so be prepared to use your mobile data connection (LTE reception was fine) if you want to either get some work done or stream / download video content.
