Welcome to your home away from home.
Yattalunga is a small suburb forming part of the 3 villages of Davistown, Saratoga and Yattalunga! It is situated on Brisbane Water which surrounds Gosford, Davistown, Saratoga and Yattalunga. Davistown is home to the Putt Putt boats and Putt Putt Regatta.
My cottage is conveniently located 10-15 minutes drive from the Gosford/Kariong M1 turnoff.
This comfortable cottage is eclectic but stylish where classic charm meets modern convenience. This enchanting single level 2 bedroom cottage boasts a luxurious bathroom and a host of attractive features, making it an ideal haven for your family getaway.
As you step inside, you'll be greeted by the warm embrace of timber floorboards, which lead you through this beautiful home. Step out the back door which opens out to a very private Zen garden with tranquil water sounds from the delightful pond. The perfect spot for a morning coffee or evening relaxation away from the hustle and bustle.
The heart of this cottage is the kitchen, and it's truly a chef's delight. Modern and inviting, it features stone benches that add a touch of elegance to your culinary adventures. Fully equipped with dishwasher, filtered water/ice fridge, oven, stove top, microwave & pod coffee machine you will be wanting for nothing.
The main bedroom consists of a queen bed and overhead fan.
The second bedroom has a double bed.
Both bedrooms have ample hanging space & drawers etc. All beds have electric blankets fitted to keep you extra cosy at night. Linen and house towels are provided.
The living room has a large smart tv with soundbar. Fast wi-fi is available for all your computer and streaming needs. Netflix is available for your use as well. Also provided is a DVD/CD player and DVDs if you desire.
The bathroom has been tastefully updated to offer a contemporary feel with a bath and a shower. Whether you're getting ready for the day or winding down in the evening, you'll do it in style and comfort.
Step outside, and you'll find a private front yard that's perfect for family gatherings, or simply basking in the open air. The cottage also includes a tandem carport and off-street parking.
Because I like to look after my garden, if you are staying for more than a few nights I would like access to do some watering / maintenance especially in the warmer months. This access can be at a mutually convenient time so as to not be an inconvenience to you and I would not be entering the cottage.
EV and plug in hybrid vehicle charging is available in the carport. There is a Type 2 - 7 kW EV charger set up in the carport which should fit any EV or plug in hybrid vehicle. It is metered so any EV charging will need to be paid for at the end of your stay. Please talk to me if you would like to use this facility and I will ensure it is turned on for your use. If you require any further information regarding charging your vehicle please contact me.
Feel free to bring your furry friend along for your getaway too. The whole property is fully fenced with an electric gate so is very secure and dog friendly.
This cottage isn't just a charming residence; it's nestled in an ideal location. You're just a short walk from the waterfront, where serene views and leisurely strolls await. Access to public transport and you're just minutes away from major shopping hubs. It's the perfect blend of tranquility and accessibility.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The house was clean and stylish and had all the amenities (and more) we needed for our stay. Our dog loved exploring the garden as we chilled on the back verandah, enjoying the sun and tranquility. Josette, the host, was very helpful, communicative and friendly. The cottage is an easy drive to shops and the water, with all it offers. We’d stay here again without hesitation.

This was a wonderful place to stay for our visit. The property was clean and exactly what was described. The booking and check in process was very easy, and the host was very responsive to questions and very welcoming, even providing a lovely welcome pack. We wish would could have stayed longer, but only had a short time available. We will definitely be back to the area, and this will be our first preference for accommodation. Hopefully it is available.

This delightful cottage exudes quiet calm with delightful gardens in which to relax and very tasteful furnishings and decorations with well fitted out kitchen. Despite being on a busy road it is surprisingly quiet inside. It is ideally placed to visit the beauty of the Central Coast.

Josette was an amazing host. The house and garden was immaculate also very shady and great for my dog to investigate. Good location for proximity to Coles, takeaway and beaches. I would stay again. Thanks Josette for welcoming flowers, treats and bubbles. It was very much appreciated after a long drive.
