About this house rental
Mac Magic is a cute pet friendly stand alone cottage within walking distance to the fantastic Macmasters surf beach and many Bouddi National Park walking tracks.
Take a leisurely stroll through the bush track to reach the beach. Stop off for a coffee at the local beach kiosk Barefoot before hitting the sand and surf. If you have a few more beans in the can you can stroll along the beach to Copacabana where you`ll find more shops, restaurants and cafes to choose from. After a day at the beach, or perhaps out on the bushwalking trails, head home and relax on the rear deck and soak up the sounds of nature as the sun sets. With a log burning fireplace this home is perfect all year round.

- Ocean views over Macmasters
- Two living spaces, great if you have kids.
- Reverse cycle AC in lounge
- Entertaining deck with BBQ and outdoor setting
- Wood burning fireplace, making it the ideal destination all year round
- All bed and bath linen included, just bring beach towels
- Bathroom toiletries included: shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap

**Optional use of `the pod` including a queen bedroom with luxury ensuite, the pod is separate to the main house but has easy under cover access to the main house and verandah - additional fees apply**
Pets: This property is pet friendly with prior approval from the owners. Pets are to be kept off carpeted areas, beds, couches, cushions and other soft furnishings. Additional cleaning fees will apply if pets mark or soil these areas, or leave excessive fur or dirt behind.
The Area:
Macmasters Beach is one of the best beaches on the Central Coast. Boasting a great right hand point break, a beach break at Tudi (off the lake mid way along the beach) and Copa point there is always a wave to enjoy. The beach is patrolled during the summer months and there is a rock pool at the southern end of the beach for the little ones. There is a kids playground just opposite the beach and the surf club has a kiosk as well as a bar that is open on Friday and Sunday nights where you will meet all the friendly locals. The beach is dog friendly from the headland heading north to just past the lagoon.
As this home is being offered as a short-term rental, we kindly ask our guests to familiarise themselves with the short-term rental code of conduct, in particular part 2.5 which refers to the rights and obligations of the guest. This will help ensure your stay is enjoyed without interruption.

A great little cottage style house, located conveniently close to MacMasters Beach and Copacabana. The house is exactly as the photos depict and it was a great little place to stay while we enjoyed our summer holiday relaxing and taking part in local activities.
The house is well equipped with necessities and a few little extras to help make your stay comfortable.
A few things to be aware:
- The place is located in surround dense bush and insects, spiders and bugs are terrible. The house did have quite a few cobwebs inside in EVERY room and we frequently killed spiders including on the bedheads and near bedside tables. The house needs a pest spray. No fresh air can circulate due to pests entering through deteriorating flyscreens.
- The water pressure is quite low and makes it difficult to wash sand out in the outside shower and bathroom shower. It’s noticeable when using taps in the kitchen and laundry area too.
- It does get quite hot during summer evenings and the bedroom fans do not work. Aircon isn’t available in the bedrooms.
- Poor security with front and back door locks which can be easily opened by children or broken into.
- Property is managed by Beach Retreats (not Stayz), so our payments were debited within 5 days of each other conflicting to what was advertised on the Stayz website.
