About this lodge
Betelgeuse Suite, named after the red supergiant star, is one of our four rooms available. This private room features a queen-sized pillow top mattress, 100% cotton, high thread count linens, flat screen TV with streaming channels, mini fridge, Kuerig, stone tiled bathroom with walk in shower, fresh towels, a private balcony with stunning views overlooking Strawberry Creek.
Access to lobby with fireplace, kitchen, bbq, deck and hot tub are potentially community areas, tho often not fully booked.
Root Stone Lodge is nestled above the serene Strawberry Creek, Just a short 3/4 mile walk into town, our lodge provides easy access to the creek trail. Allowing you to explore and take in the beauty of the area within easy walking distance to town!
Our back deck is the perfect place to relax, featuring a 6-person hot tub, a gas BBQ, and an outdoor dining area where you can enjoy meals surrounded by nature. Inside, you'll find a cozy sitting area with stunning views of the trees and creek, a fully equipped kitchen, and an indoor dining area. Unwind with a movie on the large flat-screen TV or gather around the indoor game table for some friendly competition.
The lodge showcases a unique spiral staircase crafted from pine and manzanita by the owner, adding a touch of rustic elegance. Our one-acre, unfenced property is surrounded by towering pine, fir, and ponderosa trees, creating a tranquil setting. Encounter local wildlife such as California grey squirrels, many birds including blue jays, wood packers, and hummingbirds, also on occasion, raccoons, deer, coyote and bobcats have been spotted!
Enjoy outdoor spaces such as trail to creek, sitting areas, mini amphitheater. Wedding and event space available!

Check-in was quick easy. The location was amazing. You could walk to a great Mexican joint within two minutes and you can walk Creek Trail to get straight to the brewery. It was phenomenal.
