About this house rental
Nestled on a quiet, wooded, corner lot, this clean and cozy private home is just 4 miles north of downtown Idyllwild. It sits on a county-maintained road, with a paved driveway, and is accessible year round. This spacious 2 bed/2 bath, single-story home is fully furnished for your comfort and convenience. Cozy up in front of the brick fireplace or enjoy the evening sunset off the back deck. Across the street is a private entrance to the national forest and 50 miles of trails to explore.
The large master bedroom has a queen-size bed and private en suite, full bathroom. Use the large closet and dressers to hang and store clothing if desired. The second bedroom has two twin-size trundle beds, a large closet, and play area with a doll house, small 4-in-1 game table, and toys for the young or young-at-heart. There is another full hall bathroom across from the laundry room closet. The living room futon converts to a full-size bed for an additional sleeping area and a crib mattress is available for younger guests if needed. For your entertainment, there is WiFi, a smart TV, DVD player, Bluetooth speaker, DVDs, books, board games, dartboard, and other activities in the living room. There is also a slide in the backyard and a hillside for sledding (horseshoe pit coming soon). There is seating for four at the dining table and countertop seating for two additional guests at the kitchen island, along with a bar area for two beside the dining room. There is seating for 5 in the living area, as well as outdoor seating on the large deck.
Guests are welcome to use the entire home, yard, and driveway during their stay. The driveway can accommodate parking for up to two vehicles. We just ask that you be respectful of the neighbors.
Well-behaved, house-trained dogs are welcome but can never be left unaccompanied in the home and please do not allow pets on the furniture; dog beds are provided for your pets’ comfort. Please keep your pets with you at all times and be sure to clean up after them. Cleaning supplies are provided in the case of an accident. Dog food and water bowls are provided in the kitchen; waste bags and dog toys can be found in the living room. Please keep your pets leashed at all times when outdoors as the property is not fenced, and never leave pets unattended.
