Lower Shockerwick Lodge is a stunning country house just a short drive from Bath. With the main house and additional cabin, this house is perfect for large groups wanting the peace & quiet of the beautiful Countryside but with Bath a 10 minute drive away. With a beautiful garden and hot tubs, there is so much space for everyone to relax or gather for meals.

We had an amazing stay at this house for my daughter’s hen weekend. From the time of booking right through to our visit, the communication was excellent.Paul from the management team kindly arranged an early check-in for us and was there to greet us on arrival, showing us around and explaining where everything was. The house itself was beautifully equipped with everything we needed for a perfect weekend away.We also used the private chef Sean who was recommended to us, and he was absolutely fabulous — such a highlight of the weekend.The only small issue we experienced was with the fridge temperature not being quite cold enough. I made Paul aware of it, but as it was a Sunday of a bank holiday weekend and we were leaving the next day, I wasn’t expecting it to be resolved during our stay.Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this property for a special group getaway.

Really lovely property Had a fantastic time.Little issue Not as many bedrooms as advertised. No towels for half of visitors. Need more toilet rolls. Very small problems. Beautiful property. Fabulous stay
