About this house rental
Nestled in one of France’s most beautiful regions, tucked away in the hinterland of the Côte d’Azur amid olive groves, forests, and the vast vineyards of the Var (Provence), lies the Bastide La Folle du Logis.
A lovely base from which to explore the beautiful surroundings of southern France.
You’ll be staying with us in our fully renovated (2025) gîte, which accommodates 4 people.
The Gîte is furnished with pieces and treasures from local flea markets and antique fairs, complemented by contemporary modern comforts.
Inside, the living area—including the bedrooms—covers 80 m², and outside there is a very spacious, fully covered 50 m² terrace with a long dining table, seating area, and lounge chairs overlooking the spacious backyard.
Our gîte is located 4 km outside the village of Lorgues. We have a large, fenced-in property of 10,000 m²: we keep a large portion of it as natural as possible, with old French oak trees, a spacious field of olive trees, and a small section “landscaped” with local plants and shrubs.
The village of Lorgues is nestled amid the rolling hills of Provence, much of which is forested and perhaps an even larger portion of which is used as vineyards. It’s fantastic to explore the surrounding area, visiting all kinds of picturesque villages and magnificent châteaux.
