Sprawling farmlands lead you to believe you are miles and miles away from civilization, when in fact you are mere minutes from some of the best culture Michigan has to offer! Conveniently located on Blue Star Highway (our main road here in Saugatuck), you can easily zip a mile up the road and land in the darling towns of Saugatuck & Douglas. These sister towns have a storied history of incredible beauty, divine cuisine, and a killer art scene. From small businesses that have been operating for decades to fresh, new pop-ups, there is something for everyone in this thriving cultural center voted Best Beach Town by Midwest Living Magazine.
The nearby Oval Beach is only 10 minutes away, and Conde Nast Traveler has ranked it in the top 25 best shorelines in the world! That's right, the WORLD! State-known hiking and biking trails fill the area, and gorgeous state parks with majestic forested dunes line the shoreline. There is no shortage of incredible offerings, no matter what you're into!

This spacious home offers plenty of room to spread out, with multiple indoor gathering areas perfect for cozy nights in or quality time with family and friends.
Step outside to enjoy the expansive outdoor spaces, including a charming back patio, a private hot tub overlooking the woods, and your own walking path that winds through the trees. As evening falls, gather around the woodsy bonfire area for late-night s’mores, stories, and unforgettable chats under the stars.
Perfectly balancing seclusion and convenience, Forest View is just a short drive from the vibrant towns of Saugatuck and Douglas, where you’ll find art galleries, boutiques, dining, and waterfront adventures along the Kalamazoo River.
Forest View is a 5-minute drive to Saugatuck, Douglas, Fennville, Douglas Beach, and various Wineries/Breweries. Don't feel like driving? No problem there! The Saugatuck Township Interurban Transit Authority offers pick-ups and drop-offs for only $1 each way to anywhere in Saugatuck Township. Simply call in the moment or ahead and reserve a time and pick-up/drop-off location and your chariot awaits!
Want to venture out into the rest of Michigan's Art Coast? Downtown South Haven and Holland are only a 20-minute drive away and offer a whole different vibe filled with other activities to explore!

Our Pet Fee is $145 and will include a Pet Basket for you to use during your stay: Food and Water Bowls, Waste Bags, Lavender Pet Shampoo, Pet Stain Remover, Puppy Towel, and a little Treat :) Woof Woof!

We stayed here with 4 adults, 3 kids, and 2 pups and it was perfect! The dogs loved running around outside in the spacious yard. We had a fire one night and made s'mores. Made use of the hot tub as well. Inside was very clean, well kept and had all the things we needed. We were in the area for a swim meet in Holland. Good distance (about 15-20 mins) from the pool. Loved exploring the area but we were happy to come 'home' tonthe country each night! Loved the e- guide book and the materials left at the house with information in things to do in the area. Go to Oval Beach! You won't regret it! Would stay here again if in the area. Thank you!

Good location with relatively short drives to dunes hiking, beaches, local towns. Property well cared for and was exactly as advertised.
