About this house rental
Escape to this spacious lakeside home in the popular Walden neighborhood of Montgomery, TX with lake access, community pools, pickleball courts, and more! Whether you're visiting to enjoy your boat on the lake, fish, golf, or something else, we are happy to have y'all! Enjoy the screened in porch with shuffleboard and cozy swing chair where you can watch your favorite game on the TV among twinkle lights.
The space
Note: This home has the kitchen and main living area on the 2nd floor.
BEDROOMS: (TV in primary bedroom but NO TV's in other bedrooms)
• Downstairs main floor is a large primary bedroom with King-sized bed and ensuite bathroom and coffee bar (hair-dryer provided)
• Down the hall is another bedroom with 1 full-sized bed (can sleep 2 people) with 1 Twin bunk AND 1 pull-out Twin bed. Full bathroom is across the hallway.
• There is a private office room between the primary bedroom and 2nd bedroom. A pull-out Twin cot bed is in the closet if needed. *ADDED: Indoor basket ball hoop game! Can be folded up in the room if you need the cot bed.
• Upstairs is the 3rd bedroom/bunkroom with 2 Twin bunkbeds (for 2 total people), 2 Full-sized bunk beds (4 people), and a full bathroom connected (this bathroom also connects to living room).
• The living room (upstairs) has a pull-out Queen sleeper sofa bed (suited for 2 people; sheets provided in upstairs closet).
LIVING SPACE:
•The 2nd story living room/kitchen/connected screened in patio is where you can gather and enjoy watching your favorite show on the big-screen TV and/or prep for meals.
• Through the kitchen is the outside (2nd story) screened in covered patio with shuffleboard, ring toss, cozy patio sofa + chairs, large patio dining set, TV w/ electric fireplace, twinkle lights, and fans to keep things cool in the hot summer months.
WALDEN AMENITIES: As guests, you have access to the Walden amenities:
•community pool
•pickleball/tennis courts
•fitness center
•boat ramp
•restaurant
There is also an 18-hole golf-course with driving range available to the public as well (*this is not included in the booking and must be arranged with the clubhouse). It is a beautiful community with parks and some walking trails to explore.
*key card is provided, please do not lose this key otherwise we charge $150 to replace.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- Garage is not currently for guest use. Please do not try to open
- No smoking of any kind allowed in the home (outside is okay, please dispose of ends).

We stayed here for Father's Day weekend with our family from out of town. The property was absolutely stunning and comfortable for our group. The owner was very quick to respond to any and all questions. We loved the screened-in outdoor patio with the large TV and shuffleboard. The kitchen had all the pots, pans, and gadgets we needed. We will most certainly stay here again.

The Fitz was a great place to stay for our family while in town for a wedding. Everything was clean, comfortable and organized. Communication throughout the process was excellent and made everything very easy. Nice area and a short drive to anything needed.

Great home, But the neighborhood is not friendly. At 4:00 p.m. we had just turned the music on and started the barbecue when the neighbor came out and told us that she calls the cops on people with loud music. Saying hi to passing by neighbors were not friendly, The children would say hi to people on golf carts and no one would look at us or wave back. Surrounding neighbors were very unwelcoming. Also wasn't told that there was ongoing construction. Therefore the piece of yard that was there wasn't usable due to tools and ladders and debris.
