About this house rental
This luxurious lake house, located in the popular Walden on Lake Conroe, is sure to pamper guests while still leaving you feeling right at home with contemporary furnishings complimented with antiques and accessories that give a warm, calm and relaxed feel. Beautiful views of Lake Conroe can be seen from every room in the house, with three walls of windows on both upper and lower floors.. To top it all off, guests have the same amenities available to them as the owner. Yacht Club with dining, adult pool, kiddie pool, cabana and plenty of seating, Racquet Club with both covered and uncovered tennis courts, Health Club with lap pool, two boat launches, Marina with boat rentals, a Ship store for all your fishing needs and a children's playground. Free high speed wi-fi to keep you connected.
The main kitchen has a gathering room with sofa and chairs and ten foot island so everyone is very comfortable together while dining and visiting with family and friends. The house is kid friendly with slipcovers that are washable on the sofas and chairs.
Each bedroom has beautiful lake views and its own private bathroom, except for the bunk bedroom. The bathroom for the bunkbed room is right next door. All bathrooms have high-grade light colored travertine and plenty of towels. The bunk beds are custom built by a professional carpenter, having full size beds both upper and lower and are sturdy enough to accommodate adults or children. There are four cots with sheets in the closet for the option to "spread out."
High speed internet and Smart TVs with DirecTV are there to keep you connected and entertained..
There are two entertaining areas. The main entertaining area has plenty of seating with beautiful views and an enormous beautiful kitchen nearby, fully stocked with the appliances and dinnerware you will need for your family and friends. The second entertaining area also has plenty of seating with beautiful views and has a kitchenette equipped with refrigerator/freezer, microwave, sink and pantry.
The master bedroom has a gorgeous king bed with luxury brand linens (as does all of the bedrooms), a wood burning fireplace, Juliet balcony, antique heart of pine flooring and a beautiful view of Lake Conroe's sunset. The master bath has a large hammered copper soaking tub, lined with hammered nickel which will keep your warm bath the preferred temperature much longer.
A game room equipped with ping pong, air hockey, flatscreen TV, surround sound, basketball game, karaoke and dress up is included with this property which will thrill adults as well as teens and children.
Outdoors, you will find a large sundeck with a large sectional and beautiful views of the lake. Ground level has a custom built 9 foot zinc top table and sideboard. Built-in seating the width of the bulkhead for lakeside fishing or spending hours relaxing with that glass of wine and good conversation. A large fire pit outside is great for gathering and roasting marshmallows. The house has three wood burning fireplaces and plenty of firewood for those cold nights during fall and winter stays.
There are 2 boat slips available to you, so bring your boat, or rent a boat from the neighborhood marina or others just a few minutes from the house.
Many restaurants and pubs, coffee shops, ice cream parlors and shopping can be visited with boat docks across the backs. There are also plenty of shopping, antiquing, fine and casual dining nearby. Splashtown Waterpark is just 30 minutes away and The Woodlands Marketstreet and Mall are just 20 minutes away.
We do not allow weddings, receptions, prom events, bachelor parties or large parties...no exceptions.

After a lot of research and looking at different properties on Lake Conroe, I chose this lake house to celebrate my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary with my family. We were hoping for a place we could all be together, and this lake house was perfect. The view of the lake is breathtaking, both from the upstairs and downstairs communal spaces. Three of the four bedrooms have gorgeous lake views as well (all but the bunk room). There is also plenty of bathroom space, which is important (one for each room plus a half bath in the upstairs space). The bunk room provided lots of extra sleep space (double beds!). All of the beds are very comfortable (very important to me). The house is so spacious—we were able to gather in multiple spots and be together, but also plenty of room to separate. The kitchen is amazing and ended up being one of our favorite gathering spots. It’s massive—with a large eat-in island, large dining table, and sitting area. I loved being able to prepare meals while still being a part of the family time. We had bad weather for much of our stay, so we didn’t get to enjoy the outside gathering spots as much as we would have liked, but there was still so much to do inside with the games and karaoke. The dock was great. We brought our Seadoo and had fun on the water (when it wasn’t raining). Denise, the owner, was very responsive in answering the few questions we had on our check in day. We are already talking about another stay in the future.

Check in and communication with agent was easy. Upon arrival there was a lot of wall scratches, chipped tile, broken granite, and just cosmetic issues that are not well maintained on regular maintenance. When you enter the front door there are stairs going down to the first floor and up to the second floor. Not suited for elderly or handicap. The view from the windows both upstairs and downstairs out to the lake was fantastic. Lots of seating and well stocked kitchen. The cable box for downstairs was located in the kitchenette, very hard to find. No instruction for tv operation.
