About this house rental
In the Hautes-Vosges, in the small town of Cornimont located at an altitude of 600 m, in a quiet area, furnished tourist accommodation *** for 6 people, 80 m².
We will welcome you in a recent lodging, classified three star, any comfort with modern decoration
On the ground floor, you will have a living space with fully equipped kitchen open to a dining room and a large living room for pampering evenings, with convertible 2-seater sofa, TV corner, free wifi access, a large room bathroom, 1 separate WC. Balcony access.
On the 1st floor: 1 bedroom with a double bed, a baby bed, various storage and wardrobe
1 second bedroom (20 m2) with 4 single beds, different storage and wardrobe
In the basement you will find 1 large garage for a car, bicycles, or motorcycles, a laundry room (washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board, baby chair), a local ski room or other.
Outside, you can enjoy barbecue evenings under a starry sky in a rural and bucolic atmosphere

We provide sheets and bed linen
Rental all charges included except tourist tax
Cleaning is optional and you will be charged 100 euros
Many activities are offered nearby and everyone will find what they are looking for throughout the year:
Hiking or biking trails starting from the house directly on the Hautes Vosges greenway (53 km cycle path) for road biking and also departure of the mountain bike circuit.
Many lakes where you can practice swimming or traditional fishing or fly fishing: Gérardmer and Longemer (20 km), Les Corbeaux (10 km), nautical base of Saulxures-sur-Moselotte (7 km).
Bol d'Air Aventure de La Bresse 10 km away.
Alsace 30 km away (wine route, Christmas markets, etc.).
Summer toboggan
Paragliding trial school, climbing site etc. ....
You can go skiing in different ski resorts: Brabant at 6 km, the Hermitage of Brother Joseph at 11 km (family resort). Bresse Hohneck station 15 km away, shuttle service from La Bresse to ski resorts, cross-country ski center, snowshoeing, Christmas markets, etc.
You will find within 500 m an organic shop and a supermarket, the village center is 1500 m away.
Easy access by car. Possibility by train to Remiremont (TGV) then connection by TER shuttle to Cornimont (40 minutes). In winter rotation of shuttles from La Bresse to the ski resorts.
A pet is welcome, provided that it is respectful of the place and the environment

We can leave you some good addresses, especially for restaurants and outings.

This quiet, clean, and spacious house is ideally located for outdoor activities, in the middle of the ‘Hautes Vosges’. Within 15-45 minutes driving time (car) you can reach most of the area.
THE HOUSE
The house is clean and consists of three stories and a small terrace outside with a picknick table and a BBQ. The lowest level contains the garage (where you could even park your car), a spare room with same benches, and a room with washing machine, dry cleaner and ironing board. The middle level consist of a separate toilet, and a bathroom with enough shelves to store your stuff and a nice and warm shadower/bath. The living room and the kitchen are in one area and there is enough space and a lot of light through various windows all around. The kitchen is fully equipped and the diner table has room for up to 8 people. There is a small balcony with nice views.
The top level has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with four single beds.
All the windows have shutters which help against sun and noise, and make the rooms pitch dark.
THE LOCATION
The location is very quiet and private. The owners live next door, but we never heard them or walked into them. There is a supermarket (Aldi) near by and if you like to hike, there are plenty of well marked routes within 30 minutes drive by car.
THE OWNERS
The owners are very friendly, and respond very quickly to messages. They leave you alone, but are there if you require help.

THINGS TO BE AWARE OF
- If you are tall (>1,90m) you will likely bump your head several times (on the stairs, against some lamps, or at some places on the top floor)
- If you have children that love to play outside, the location has limited possibilities, because the garden is small (our kids 2 and 5 didn’t bother, and had a blast).

Recently renovated appartment with kind host. Good shower, good beds and very clean. Outdoor terras is less suitable for small children (declining and no fence). However, with such stunning surroundings you will probably hardly spend any time there. Nice villages nearby.
