About this house rental
Getaway to beautiful Indian River along the Inland Waterway! Our cottage is just steps away from Devoe Beach on Burt Lake, fishing pier, Northland Brewing Company, snowmobile rail trails, state ORV trails, marinas, and restaurants/bars in downtown. You will love the knotty pine, up north vibes, with the necessities of home! If you are adventurous, enjoy rafting/tubing/kayaking the Sturgeon River! Excellent location for boating the inland waterway! Thank you for visiting!
The space
Our cottage is split into a duplex with a locked exterior door separating the units. The left side of the home will be the rental property.
Guest access
Left side of home is rental property. Please park on that side in the grass. Please do not use paved driveway on owner's side. You may utilize the fire pit and the basketball hoop that's in the road.
Additional rules
Upon checkout, please remove all items from the refrigerator and put all trash in provided trash bin by the road.
Please place all used bedding and towels in laundry basket provided in master bedroom.

This duplex needs a lot of updating. One major issue for me was the control over heat and A/C was not available to the person staying there. The control was in the owners side of the duplex and not available to us so anytime we wanted to change the temperature we had to send a message to Jessica who manages the duplex. She was very responsive but this was mentioned in the description. Although it has a refrigerator and microwave it does not have a “kitchen”. No sink, no dishes, no silverware, no glasses. There were some paper cups for coffee but that was all. It is very convenient to town and walking to the water which was nice.
