L'Eden - Atypique et charmant - Suquet

I had a lovely stay overall and the studio itself is genuinely charming. It’s very clean, well equipped, and stays surprisingly cool even during very hot weather. The location is excellent too, only a short walk to the beach and around 10 minutes to the Palais, which made it ideal during Cannes. The apartment is small but thoughtfully arranged, with plenty of kitchen equipment, glasses, plates, fridge/freezer etc. The sofa bed was also very comfortable once set up, and clearly good quality rather than a flimsy fold-out. However, some instructions for opening and closing it would have been really helpful, as the mechanism was not particularly intuitive and took quite a while to work out. Closing it again before departure was also fairly heavy and a bit of a challenge, especially after a long Cannes week. Overall though, the studio itself is delightful, peaceful, very well located, and full of character. Franck was also very helpful and responsive throughout my stay. With slightly clearer information about access and facilities, it would make the experience even better for future guests

future guests should be aware that access is quite difficult. Cars cannot get close to the property, and reaching the studio involves carrying luggage up and down a significant number of uneven pedestrian stairs. This was the main downside of the stay and something that would have been helpful to know more clearly in advance of booking, especially for anyone travelling with heavy suitcases or mobility concerns. One other small point: guests are asked to take rubbish to external bins located quite a distance away along the pedestrian route, which was not particularly practical given the access situation.
