In short: An excellent place for a holiday getaway. I can't wait to come back. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Without a doubt, this is the best place we’ve ever stayed (I was traveling with a group of friends—ladies in our sixties). There were so many advantages that it’s hard to list them all. It's a beautiful, spacious apartment set in a lemon grove, featuring an open-air kitchen on a large terrace and a mesmerizing view of the mountains—especially at night. This place gives you personal space. There was also an outdoor shower, which—to my surprise—I absolutely loved. Give it a try! The interior looks exactly as it does in the photos; it is comfortable and thoughtfully set up for guests. For those worried about the steps: at least you are absolved of guilt for those extra slices of pizza! ;) To be fair, we had a lot of fun on them. However, what really set this place apart was the host. Antonio made our stay feel like visiting a good friend. He anticipated our needs, offered advice, and was always ready to help. He even treated us to tomatoes and lemons he had grown himself. We also took the opportunity to have a dinner prepared right there on the terrace. In our opinion, Antonio’s culinary skills are top-notch. We even learned how to make pizzas. I’ll leave the rest of the evening as a surprise. At the foot of the stairs, there is a butcher shop where you can also find delicious fresh bread. A little further up (1 km, which we covered by foot), there is a local restaurant serving delicious pizza, with wine and limoncello available for purchase. If you are wondering about the distance, there is no need to worry. The bus connection is excellent, and if you have any questions, just ask—the locals or the bus drivers will be happy to help. Many Italians speak English at a conversational level, and if not, they will do anything to support you. In 15 minutes, you will be at the beach.

Der Gastgeber ist super herzlich und als Gast merkt man, dass er sehr viel Herzblut in die Unterkunft gesteckt hat. Es ist alles sehr modern (im Stil der Amalfiküste). Die Unterkunft liegt 200 Treppenstufen in den Bergen. Dies macht aber auch die besondere Lage aus. Die Aussicht ist überragend. Ausstattung: - Geschirrspüler - Waschmaschine - Smart TV - TV in jedem Schlafzimmer - Outdoorküche mit Holzofen - ... Die Busanbindung ist super, um nach Maiori in die Stadt zu kommen. Was allerdings alles übertrifft, ist die Gastfreundlichkeit. Er hat uns mit frischen Tomaten und Zitronen versorgt. Gleichzeitig war er zu jeder Zeit verfügbar und hat von sich aus Empfehlungen ausgesprochen (Tipps, was man bei welchem Wetter machen kann, wo es die beste Salsiccia gibt etc.) - nur ein Beispiel: Als wir unsere Wäsche aufgehängt hatten und es begonnen hat zu regnen, hat er es durch Zufall mitbekommen und uns eine Plane über die Kleidung gehängt
