Tlou Tribal Lodge

Hot shower, clean place, comfortable beds, warm room, starry sky!

Tents are beautiful inside and beds and pillows are very comfortable

The location is not great but the place itself it wonderful

The game drives and experience of being in the location

The distance from the park and not knowing what food we were having

Breakfast was very basic, no fruit, no cereal. Just eggs and toast and a bit of peanut butter and jam.

The tent was hot, it desperately needs an aircon. Pool small. Cleaning lady did not make or tidy up while we went out. Toilet has a terrible smell. No toiletries apart from a bottle of hand soap. Could not find a blow dryer. No wardrobe to hang up clothes. No pool towels. The road leading to the lodge is disastrous and too far from the main entrance to Pilanesberg. On one of the game drives not a bottle of water was provided! It was my birthday and the dinner was ok but too basic for a special occasion. Not much privacy with houses around. My personal opinion is that there are far better lodges in the area at same price.
