I stayed for two nights at this location in winter (6 guests in total). It was peaceful. I very much enjoyed the wetland-like terrain and fynbos-like plant life in the back garden, accessible via a patio with comfortable seating. The hosts were welcoming (they live in a separate house on the same property) - they had a homemade sourdough loaf waiting for us on arrival and they prepared the wood-fired jacuzzi for us in the evening, letting us know via. WhatsApp when it was ready. We made use of the kitchen which had everything we needed for our weekend stay, as well as the built-in under-roof braai on the patio outside and the fireplace in the lounge (wood & fire making tools kindly supplied by hosts).
