We loved the house. It was so homey & charming, but at the same time spacious & modern. Check in was very easy & convenient. The location was GREAT! The village of Alem is very quiet, but centrally located to the main road, so you can get to many places quite easily. There was a full-sized supermarket 1km away (open 7 days per week), so you can walk or drive, plus a couple of local, causal restaurants nearby. There's a gas station down the street, so that's very convenient. Definitely value for money. Parking on-site, with a terrace & patio. The main house was sunny and has so much charm and character. It was also very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked. The beds were SUPER comfortable and we loved the furniture and decor. The house has 3 full bedrooms, but make sure to tell the host if you plan on sleeping in the 3rd bedroom because when we were there there was a baby crib in there, not an adult-sized bed. There is also a desk area upstairs where you can work.

Just a small piece of feedback: the upstairs bathroom has a basic shower solution with curtains around the floor drain. It worked fine, though a more modern shower setup could be a nice improvement for guests.

Goede bedden, veel ruimte. Fijne veranda. Je hebt het hele huis voor jezelf.

Jammer dat er geen hekwerk is aan de voorkant bij een drukke straat. We durfden de hond daardoor niet goed los te laten in de tuin. Het raam bij de trap heeft geen verduisterend gordijn en de deur naar de slaapkamer heeft een glazen deur, daardoor altijd licht in de slaapkamer.

De afmetingen van de ruimtes, en dat we gebruik mochten maken van de wasmachine en droger.

Dat er een bedompte lucht in de woning hangt, en dat je er zeker moet ventileren bij binnenkomst.
