Paradisi Village

The place was very cozy and warm. It had all the amenities and view is fantabulous would recommend to anyone who were to visit here

At night it looks a bit scary. However the owners wife came and she helped us move. We reached a bit late. Fantastic host

This was a lovely old village house with loads of character. It had been beautifully restored, in keeping with the original era, including typical furniture and kitchenware where possible. It had excellent views and was very peaceful and calm. The kitchen was generally well equipped, but strangely, had forks and spoons, but no knives in the drawers. There was a delightful terrace from the top bedroom with table and chairs to eat outside. It was a wonderful place to stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of the town, a few kilometres down the mountainside.

The property was quite tricky to find. The owner had prepared excellent, detailed instructions, but had missed out one instruction that made the search a little more difficult. The road down to the house from the main road was very narrow and windy, with hairpin bends which were a little alarming, but no doubt, very atmospheric! The first two bends he noted, and photographed, were clear to see, but the third one didn’t note which road level to take. After this, the instructions for parking were clear. We felt he should have noted that the house would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues as, from the car parking spot there was a sack trolley provided for transporting luggage, and a very narrow, quite windy, rough terrain track to the house, with no other access. Also inside the house there is a very narrow, steep, windy, spiral staircase to the upstairs main bedroom, again with no other access, which would also mean that anyone with a mobility issue would not be able to access the terrace upstairs.
