An Entire one-bedroom Home of 45m2, set within a large garden area and open out to large verandas.
It features a separate BEDROOM with AC and double bed, a BATHROOM fitted with a shower and hairdryer, towels and bed linen are provided. Guests benefit from a pleasant, separate LIVING ROOM with sitting and dining place. In the Living room there is a double sofa-bed proper for two people and KITCHENETTE fitted with a fridge, stovetop, Kettle and coffee machine.
The house is heated, a flat-screen TV-Sat and Free unlimited WiFi (very fast 4G +) is provided . A free private covered PARKING and a Barbeque area with outdoor dining place and a large veranda are available on site.
The House It is ideal for relaxing vacations, swimming, diving, fishing, climbing, hiking and as base for exploring Peloponnese. For one couple or for a family with one or two children.
It is suitable also for long-term rentals (Private parking place, pleasant living room, Kitchenette, outdoor eating place).
LOCATION :
The property, two Restored Stone Homes of an old farmer Hamlet, is surrounded by a forest area, in a quiet unspoiled landscape.
It offers a unique view on the garden, the peaks of mount Parnon and the nearby village of Amygdalia.
It is placed near Leonidio between the beaches and the mountain villages at a distance of 18km from Mount Parnon and Leonidio city, on the way to Kyparissi. The beaches of Fokianos and Poulithra are a 15-minute drive away (12km). The high mountains touch the sea creating picturesque beaches. There is a cool and dry atmosphere, pleasant in the summer nights.
WALKING, CYCLING & CLIMBING
The property is situated in an excellent location surrounded by nature for a walking or cycling holiday near Leonidio. Walking options range from gentle strolls through the nearby villages of Amygdalia, Pigadi and Peleta to more energetic hiking along the old shepherd paths to the beaches of Poulithra and Fokianos.
The location also provides a very good base for road cycling along quiet roads in excellent condition with best of both mountainous terrain and coastal riding. We can recommend opportunities on where to take a break for a refreshing swim in one of the numerous secluded bays or stop and relax for a coffee in a traditional taverna along the way.

The area has now developed a large climbing network and the property is located between the areas in Leonidio and Kiparissi - ideal for beginners through to multi stage advanced walls.
LANDSCAPE AND VEGETATION A forest area is around the property, covered with maple trees, oak, wild pistachio, almond trees, shrubs and aromatic plants such as oregano and thyme. There are no commercial farming activities, no greenhouses, vegetable crops, fruit tree plantations or olive trees cultivations - it is unspoiled nature. The land is as it has been for centuries and is still used by local farmers shepherding their goats and sheep.
THE CLIMATE AND THE ALTITUDE -The altitude is 650m above sea level. The temperature is pleasantly fresh during the summer nights, without the moisture and mosquitoes of the coastal areas and of the city. The Climate here is pleasant, cool and dry. The drinking water is coming directly from Mount Parnon.
MORPHOLOGICAL CARACTERISTICS - after a recent restoration the houses retain their main morphological traditional characteristics; the stone walls, the fireplace and their typical local Arcadian architecture. The three restored Holiday Houses are forming a small Hamlet within a large garden area of 10.000qm. They offer a unique view on the garden, the peaks of mount Parnon and the nearby village Amygdalia.
NEARBY BEACHES, HARBOURS AND VILLAGES Nearby beaches are 12km away. Aghios Georghios-Poulithra, Fokianos, Plaka. Guests can find picturesque fishing harbours, traditional tavernas and cafes right on these beaches.
LEONIDIO AND THE NEARBY VILLAGES Three small villages Peleta, Pigadi and Amygdalia can be found close by at a distance of 1 to 3 km from the property and possible to visit by car, bike or foot. A grocery store, traditional restaurants and traditional Greek coffee houses can be found there. Additional facilities including Supermarkets, Pharmacy, Bank, Medical center, shops and restaurants you can find in Leonidio.

Merci à nos hôtes Vassilis et Petra pour leur Bon accueil .
Ils nous ont permis de passer de très belles vacances et grâce à leur indication ( Vassilis nous avez dessiné une jolie carte) de découvrir la region que nous avons beaucoup apprécié !!! (de très belles plages et de jolis sites où se promener).
Le village de Leonidio a quelques kilomètres vous permets de faire vos courses, votre marché, passer à la boulangerie...afin d’avoir le nécessaire pour la location.
La maison est très propre, fonctionnelle, au calme, entourée des montagnes.
Nous avons été ravi de notre séjour.

Eine wunderbare einsame Oase fernab der Massen!

Sehr herzliche Gastgeber, die auf ihrem urwüchsigen Terassengarten zwei kleine Fehs im traditoneller Bauweise errichtet haben; ca 3oo m abseits der einsamen Landstr. zwischen den Dörfern Pigadi und Amygdalia in einem Olivenhain. Ca 20 min mit dem Auto liegt die Bucht Fokiamo mit Kieselstrand und Taverne - bis Leonidio, einem netten und lebhafte Städchen sind es ca 45 Min zu fahren. Wer Ruhe und die wunderschöne Bergwelt schätzt ist hier richtig. Nachteil: ohne Auto ist man aufgeschmissen und in den kleinen Dörfern kann mann nicht vernünftig einkaufen.
