Au Le haut nançon

Très bel appartement dans meuble ancien, dans la ville haute de Fougères. Chateau à 15mn à pieds en profitant du parcours découverte de la ville. Entièrement refait avec beaucoup de charme. Avec des chambres très spacieuses dont 2 avec leur douche privative. Idem pour le salon. L’espace repas dans la cuisine permet d’y manger à 10. Le fait de pouvoir laisser nos vélos dans la cave, a été très apprécié.

Le seul point d’amélioration serait d’avoir un autre wc. Sinon rien à redire.

Emplacement idéal, très bonne communication avec le propriétaire ☺️, apparemment avec tt les commodités. Parfait

The 2nd floor apartment is situated in an old building right in the centre of Fougères with free parking in the private area behind the building. Access is via 4 flights of uneven wooden stairs. This spacious apartment appears to have been been put together from multiple dwellings that has very uneven wooden floors and a series of very obvious blocked doorways. The kitchen is well equipped. Seating is enough for the number of bedrooms but the sofas are quite uncomfortable. The town is nice but not much to do other than the history walk which was great. It’s a good base for touring the area e.g. Le Mont-Saint-Michel. Highly recommend restaurant Tante Suzette. The host, Arthur, was very helpful.

We had Issues with hot water that couldn’t be fixed during our stay so we had to keep resetting the boiler. There is noise from the pipes which is irritating at night. Shower cubicles in the 2 en suites are very small but the main bathroom shower is bigger. Only one toilet for potentially a large number of guests. The beds are way too low and the pillows were a bit lumpy
