We had an unforgettable stay at Zambezi River Cottages. The location is absolutely breathtaking right on the banks of the Zambezi, with views of the river and its incredible wildlife. We woke up to the sights of elephants strolling gracefully along the banks and watched hippos bobbing in the water right in front of us - a truly magical experience. The cottages themselves were comfortable and well set up , offering the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern convenience. Being so close to nature, yet having a cozy place to retreat to made the trip even more special. What stood out most was the sense of peace - it felt like time slowed down as we listened to the sounds of the river and the calls of the wild around us . Our incredible host , Dawn, went above and beyond to assist in getting us car hire at a reasonable rate and organizing day trips to surrounding activities. Highly recommended - we will definitely be back
