Gigi - Duplex - 4V - Chateau d amboise

The unit is very modern and is within steps to old town and entrance to Amboise Chateau. It is equipped with air conditioning that works very good even though the unit is located upstairs and is very quiet. The upstairs is very bright and light with skylights and kitchen is well equipped. There are two bedrooms, one with two twin beds, one with a queen size bed. The shower is large and is in a separate room from the toilet which is very convenient. It is located on a side street that is very quiet. Check in instructions were great and communication was excellent! There are many restaurants in the area and it is easy to walk to all the sights to visit. Highly recommend!

The street parking is limited, but there is a free parking area next to the bridge that is a short walk away. The security deposit is rather large, but given the quality of the unit and amenities, is understandable and is only on hold as per the instructions, and must be satisfied before the check in codes are given. The space is reverse living with the living/kitchen area upstairs and the bedrooms and bath/toilet downstairs. We had some difficulty with the app used for instructions, but Gigi was very good about getting us the information via WhatsApp!

Very clean and well equipped. The best bit was finding out that it had air conditioning as we had temperatures of 34 outside! Very close to the centre of the town, just perfect.

Lacked a tea towel.

L'emplacement, la décoration, grand loft avec une belle salle de bains, grande pièce de vie. Petit kit en cadeau pour la cuisine et la salle de bains . Matelas très confortable. Grand toilette. Porte avec un digicode. Près des commerces et des restaurants.

L'odeur des poubelles dans le couloir. Pas de fenêtres dans les chambres. Pas de pastilles pour le lave vaisselle.

Très bon emplacement. Joli appartement.

Horaires d'arrivée et de départ : Il n'est pas possible d'arriver avant 17h ou partir après 10h sans payer un supplément. 10h c'est vraiment trop tôt pour une famille. Chauffage : Je ne recommande pas de louer ce logement en hiver. La pièce principale est grande avec un haut plafond = très longue à chauffer. Nous avons dû ressortir pour dîner au restaurant tellement il faisait froid. L'intérêt de louer un appartement avec cuisine était donc très limité. Pas de fenêtres dans les chambres mais cela ne nous a pas gêné car la grande pièce est agréable (avec du chauffage). malheureusement, pas assez de lumière dans cette grande pièce : il manquait 2 ampoules et 2 autres ne fonctionnaient pas. Nous l'avons signalé. La télévision ne fonctionnait pas.
