Gîte Les Deux Eaux

Yes, that is a private pool - and a really excellent one at that. The aquatic area is incredibly well designed. Sun loungers, bar area, big speakers you can Bluetooth your phone to, automatic blinds for a one-click morning swim, excellent WiFi. The gîte itself is a kitchen/diner/living area with small but comfortable bedrooms plus a small garden with picnic area and table tennis. Unbeatable for a family who want a space to share and intend to spend lots of time swimming or relaxing in the hot tub. There are 6 of us, probably best with 5 really but 6 was fine. Raphaël is the perfect host, responsive and helpful. We had an issue with one chair and a replacement appeared almost immediately. We cooked food from the local shop, 5 mins drive away (Carrefour Contact - a proper supermarket, with everything you need) but also often drove to nearby villages for superb affordable local dinners or to Dieppe (10 mins drive) for something a little fancier. There’s a vast Auchan, sports stores etc on the outskirts of Dieppe if you need to stock up. Parking at the beach and walking to the harbour in Dieppe is lovely and there are good restaurants - ask your host for recommendations. Seemed almost too good to be true, and that was my only worry. But if anything it exceeded my expectations. Sauchay is a small, quiet town and you’ll need a car (or a bike - it’s near the Avenue Verte) to get around. If you want a quiet place to unwind where you’ll have a good time in any weather, you cannot go wrong here. From the UK, take the Newhaven-Dieppe ferry and you’re 15 easy driving minutes from the gîte. We will definitely be back.

L accueil de Raphaël nous a aussitôt mis dans une bonne ambiance de groupe. Tres gentil souriant et a proximite en cas de soucis. Disponibilité ++++ le lieu est vraiment conforme à son descriptif. La proximité du port et de la plage son très appréciable pour des activités hors gîte. Gite bien équipé, literie confortable ...
