Egan's Bar Apartment

Beautiful apartment that was perfectly styled above the Egan Bar. Close to a few restaurants and the sweetest coffee shop Dolly’s. Pizzas are available at Egan’s over the weekend too. The drive to the Cliffs of Moher is less than 10 minutes (buy tickets online to save a few euros). There are a few small sets of stairs to navigate to the bathroom and the loft, but very doable. The apartment was clean and communications were helpful. In the evening you can head down to the bar for Irish music and a pint, but if you stay in for the night the music is lovely. We opted to stay in with kids and make dinner after grabbing some groceries at the market in Lahinch. We would definitely book again and highly recommend!!

I did look for an extra blanket overnight, but I didn’t find one. Easy fix though.

Living above the pub was such an interesting experience! The apartment has a really nice design. You can listen to live music right from the room, but it wasn’t noisy inside because the soundproofing is great when the windows are closed. We still went downstairs to feel the amazing, cozy atmosphere of the pub itself. We absolutely loved it!

Everything was great, but just a small suggestion for extra comfort — it would be nice to add some blinds to the windows in the shower room.

Es un apartamento muy amplio y muy bien decorado, tiene de todo, el salón precioso tal cual las fotos.

El ruido, abajo había un bar, algo que ya sabíamos, pero estuvieron de concierto hasta las 12 de la noche y a las 6 de la mañana empezaron a venir camiones, para la basura y los barriles de cerveza, total que dormimos muy poco. Estaba situado en una carretera con pocas opciones para pasear y visitar algo.

Very nice furnished apartment. Very clean and well equipped. Located above a pub. We went down for drinks there and had a good time. They also had livemusic that night. There is a Yoga studio nearby, that also has coffee and breakfast and very yummy scones :-)

The downside of being located above the pub was, that it was extremely noisy. In the backpart of the pub is a club. It was easter monday and there was a party going on. In the apartment you felt like being in the middle of the club as The music was so loud. When the music did not stop at midnight, we called the owner and he managed to stop the noise within 10 minutes. But it was a short night. When we arrived the heating of the apartment was turned off and it was quite chilly. Although we turned on all heaters, it did not get warm until the next morning when we left The blankets/duvet of the beds in the upper bedroom are very short and narrow, so nothing for tall or big people. Beds are comfortable though and you could make a fire in the fireplace if you have more time.
