Truly the vacation of our dreams. I've spent nearly 10 years dreaming about my first trip to California, specifically dreaming of staying in Laurel Canyon to be completely emersed in the decades and music that bring me so much joy. Tony's cottage made that possible. The price point, the location, the privacy, the safety and security, the patio, the cleanliness, the quietness, the walkability, the landscaping-We couldn't have asked for more. Tony is an incredible host-Responsive, incredibly kind, thoughtful and shares your excitement for your travels. You can tell he takes pride in his property management and that makes all the difference when booking a rental. I appreciate that he appreciates the history within the neighborhood and is well versed in it. Walking around the Canyon and to Lilly's Coffee every morning was such a treat and we've talked about it every day since returning home. The locals of Laurel Canyon are so kind, welcoming and being here feels otherworldly with the close-knit community you whatness at the Canyon Country Store each day. that is so lacking in our world today. Being walking distance to Pace was such a treat as well. This spot was the perfect location for a Los Angeles vacation. Due to being so centrally located we were able to hit everything we needed with ease: The Sunset Strip, The Troubadour, Mulholland Drive, Venice, Santa Monica, Malibu, Topanga Canyon, Melrose and even Disneyland. I could go on and on about our trip. We walked away with so much inspiration from the cottage and the canyon and we are already looking forward to another in the future. If you're unaware of the history of Laurel Canyon, and want to know just how special this street is, I recommend watching the 2020 Laurel Canyon Documentary. The road that this lovely cottage is located on is mentioned countless times throughout and it was so special to say we stayed there!

The only thing I could think to change is perhaps a new shower curtain? I loved the historical, rustic feel in the bathroom. But the shower curtain would never stay put and would creep in on you making the shower about half it's actual size. Perhaps one that is weighted on the bottom? Nothing serious though! :)

I really enjoyed my stay here. The setting is beautiful and very peaceful. When I woke up and looked out the window, it honestly felt like being in a treehouse. Everything was clean and well kept, and I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely come back.

It’s in a little hidden away place on hills, surrounded by a beautiful garden that drowns away the noise of the city. All the property is secured with automatic locks and the host is very communicative.

Property was a gem and very quaint. Host was very communicative. Very cozy and comfy. Mattress was perfect so sleep was decent. Decent sized tv and shower were great. Nicely decorated and decent amount of space. We look forward to staying again.

Parking situation was not as easy. Difficult to get into and find a parking space. If you get in late you will likely not get a decent space. The area has lots of traffic.
