La Riviera

The location is fab, 10 minutes stroll to the beach and boardwalk. Gorgeous views from the terrace/lawn. 45 minute walk into La Cala centre (or a 7/8 euro taxi ride) The apartment has everything you need (although was a little disappointed to find no shower gel or shampoo when we arrived and only a tiny bit of hand soap so we had to buy these, it is advertised as having free toiletries so I’m sure, if I had messaged Emma, she would have popped round with some for us. Emma was very helpful and easy to contact, as is the chap who came to bring us an iron as ours wasn’t working. (On the subject of the iron, Emma, please get a decent one for future as the new one we were provided did not work well at all 🥴) The furniture is comfortable. Plenty of storage and hangers. The only reason I have marked slightly down on cleanliness is because there were some crisps and nuts left in a couple of bowls in the kitchen cupboard and I had to clean a couple of items of cutlery before using (this is really down to the previous tenant not cleaning up properly after themselves but just a point to check. The apartment is on a hill (hence the views) but it is not too steep and is a good way to burn off some of the calories on the way back from the restaurants 😆 only 5 minutes walk from 2 supermarkets and a few bars/restaurants (the Indian, Tulsi, is good) Bridges bar do a quiz on a weds if you’re into that. Max Beach is a favourite of ours for breakfast (and an evening meal when you want to push the boat out) a little more expensive but the food and service is very good and the view is stunning. Benavra (25 minute walk) is one of our favourites also (we have many, we like our food 😝) lovely owners, good service and gorgeous, tasty, well presented food. There are so many lovely restaurants in the area, you are spoilt for choice. This was my 2nd visit to this apartment and I would not hesitate to stay again.
