The host was very responsive, and the property was easy to access. The location was convenient, nearby parking available, the room was spacious, the furniture was good & the Wi-Fi worked well.
The apartment had some damp walls and needed repainting and light repairs. I would avoid the first-floor apartment if offered, as the second-floor unit was noticeably better. The hosts said he gave the first-floor unit due to the non-availability of his own apartment, as it had been arranged through another party.
The walls were quite thin, and TV noise from a neighbouring room continued for much of the night. The ground floor can also feel deserted because several shops are closed or abandoned. Considering these issues, I found the overall rating of 8+ somewhat surprising.
