Decor a little dated

This is a very spacious villa with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. The bedrooms on the first and second floors are lovely, with some nice touches that made them feel comfortable and welcoming. The lift was a welcome addition. The pool area itself was lovely, and the pool was heated as requested, which we appreciated.

This really isn’t a five bedroomed villa! The downstairs bedroom was disappointing. It is a dark interior room with just two beds and no bedroom furniture at all. After the owners declined our request for a simple hanging rack, the guests using that room had to hang clothes from doors and towel rails, while folded clothes remained in suitcases for the week. There were only six good-quality loungers available. The remaining loungers were older plastic-style ones that were dirty when we arrived and had no cushions. For a villa that accommodates up to 12 guests, we didn’t feel this was really adequate.

Excellent villa and location. First time in Portugal and wont be the last. Had a couple of problems but the staff acted very quickly, even out of office hours.
