Location is ideal, loveky village. The property was so comfortable, clean and relaxing. The host welcomed us with treats for our dog and we had a welcome basket with tea coffee etc and bottle of wine in fridge. There was great attention to detail, all things coordinated even the tea towels in the kitchen. For me these extra touches make it feel like a home rather than a holiday let. Super comfy sofas and bed. We had a great short stay thanks to the hosts. Thank you so much

The cottage is in a lovely, very friendly village with a local bus service into York just around the corner. Very clean and tidy, equipped to the highest standards. The welcome basket was very thoughtful - fresh coffee, teabags, sugar. Biscuits, milk, wine and toiletries! There was even a dog bed, blankets, bowls, poop bags and a treat pack! What’s not to love?
