The location is perfect, the neighbourhood is safe, even at night. The place is also perfect for singles or couples; there is a small kitchen, fridge, coffee machine and microwave.

The door is a little difficult to open, but it is not a big issue, everything else was fine.

A mini-palace for Manhattan standards at this price point. Everything you need, gorgeous older building, high ceilings. Real, authentic New York neighborhood/experience.

Just be careful walking around if you’re by yourself at night.

Location.

Host’s communication was not good enough. They need to do better with communication. You can’t be waiting for your guest to reach out to you before sending them a detailed message about how to check in. This is not a hotel. It’s an apartment. You’re supposed to have sent them a message with all the necessary details needed for self check-in. We don’t have to start calling you at all for check-in details. Then the host went off and couldn’t be reached via call and other means to provide assistance and correct WiFi details as they’ve initially sent us wrong WiFi name and password. We were practically stranded all night without internet access because we flew in from the UK and had no US SIM. They were so unapologetic about it when confronted. We had to cancel plans to extend our stay for a week and move out after the initial two nights.
